I paid with Apple Pay to the shrieks and surprise of the young lady working at the local grocer. She had never seen someone pay with a phone before. She had never even heard of mobile payments. She made me show her 3 times before she actually believed me that I was in fact sending money to her account! And she made me put Apple Pay on her phone, which I could not, because Iceland "does not have Apple Pay".
